Happy Birthday! Club President Harry Peakman is 90 years young
An evening with the President
Saturday 12th March 2011- 6:30pm onwards
The Mikes would like to invite you to join us in celebrating the 90th birthday of our Club President Harry Peakman, who reached this significant milestone on Thursday.
On Saturday 12th March, the club will be holding a celebration evening to mark the occasion. This will take place in our Harry Peakman function room, already named in his honour. Festivities start from 6:30pm onwards and include a buffet and a disco later in the evening.
Harry has completed a remarkable service to the club of more than 65 years. He is still first to arrive on matchdays, to prepare the match balls and refreshments for the boardroom and dressing rooms.
A true gentleman with extensive knowledge of the game, Harry is largely responsible for the traditional core values of the club, ensuring that things continue to be done 'the Boldmere way".
All former players, friends, supporters and acquaintances are welcome to help Harry celebrate this significant milestone.
