AFC Wulfrunians
On Saturday 15th August Boldmere travel to the Wolverhampton Casuals ground to take on AFC Wulfrunians.
Last season AFC won the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division, edging out our 2009/9 pre-season hosts Bloxwich United by two points.

This season AFC Wulfrunians remain in the league and after two fixtures sit in 10th spot. Having played both league games at home they suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Dudley Town on the opening day of the season before bouncing back on Tuesday night with a 5-1 victory over Wednesfield.

AFC Wulfrunians were established in 2005, although it is an offshoot of the Old Wulfrunians club, which has existed since 1922. Teams still compete in the Birmingham Amateur Football Association under the Old Wulfrunians name.
AFC Wulfrunians joined the West Midlands (Regional) League in 2005. In their first season, they won the Division Two Championship, and in their second they finished as runners-up in Division One, earning promotion for the 2007–08 season to the West Midlands Regional League Premier Division, which above shows they won.
