Aspire Midland Football Alliance The Mikes will hope for better fortune on the road on Saturday, after three successive home games yielded just one victory. They visit Lye Meadow to take on fourth placed Alvechurch.
The Mikes defeated Kirby Muxloe by the odd goal in five on Saturday, before slipping to a single goal defeat to Tipton Town on Tuesday night. Church also took three points out of six. They romped to a four-goal victory at Bridgnorth last week, with Mikes old boy Callum Gittings again on the scoresheet. On Tuesday, they lost 3-2 to Oadby Town in al ill-tempered affair, after leading 2-0 with an hour gone.
The Mikes will be hoping for an improvement on their home display against the Worcestershire side, producing probably their worst home display of the season while slipping to a 2-0 defeat.
