Boldmere St. Michaels Yth 1-3 Castle Vale JKS
The young mikes came into this game with high hopes but were forced to field forward Cavan Baxter in goal due to injury and unavailablity Boldmere had a chance early on after 10 minutes when a corner was cleared by Steven Marford in the Vale goal.
Three minutes later Caste Vale took the lead when Jack Skinner headed on a free kick past Baxter in the mikes goal. Boldmere tried to force openings having a shot saved on 18 minutes and narrowly missing with a free kick after 22 minutes.
On 26 minutes Cavan Baxter kept Boldmere in the game when he took the ball off the head off Jake Plants Head. A minute later Boldmere had a corner cleared away from goal and two minutes later Jerome Chambers sahot over the Vale Bar.
On 39 minutes Boldmere had a golden chance to equalise when Steven Harford dropped the ball at the feet of Jordan Gibbons but the ball was cleared away . Boldmere came out sharply at the start of the 2nd half and on 51 minutes Johaine Thompzson zshot over the Vale bar. Castle Vale however doubled the lead a minute later when a player shot past Cavan Baxter from close range.
Boldmere pulled a goal back on the hour when Johaine Thompson hit a thunderbolt past Steven Marford to make it 2-1. On 63 Minutes the Vale keeper was forced to make a save from James Walker. A minute Later Cavan Baxter saved a shot with his legs from a Castle Vale Player.
On 75 minutes the Vale number 7 headed over the bar. On 78 minutes Cavan Baxter saved at the feet of the Castle Vale no8.
With two minutes to go Castle Vale wrapped up a place in the final when Mikes keeper Cavan Baxter caught the ball but was barged into the net but dispite the protests the goal was allowed to stand and summed the night up as Castle Vale JKS now face either Tipton Town, Hednesford Town or Burton Albion in the final.
