The young mikes began their Birmingham County Youth Cup campaign by welcoming Wednesfield to Church Road
The mikes got off to a fast start and Jerome Chambers had an effort chalked off on 12 minutes for offside. However a minute later the young mikes took the lead when a cross from the wing was shot home by Tom Green.
On 15 minutes a last ditch Wednesfield tackle prevented Jordan Gibbons from scoring.
The Young mikes did diouble their lead on 28 minutes when a cross was turned in in the penalty area past the keeper by Jordan Gibbons to make it 2-0 at half time
Wednesfield best chance came on 57 minutes when Andrew Roberts effort cleared the mikes bar.
Boldmere completed the scoring on 82 minutes when Aaron Gaur scored from a cross to make it 3-0 and set up a bonfire night meeting bound to bring fireworks in the next round away at Highgate United
