Bay Manager focussed

Whitley Bay Manager Ian Chandler has been speaking in the build up to the home tie vs 'The Mikes' on Saturday, stating they would dearly love to retain their cup.

He said : “Lifting the Vase at Wembley was a memorable occasion, and I know our supporters have high expectations we will do well in this season’s competition and the SNL.

“We had a blip a few weeks ago, but have bounced back to form racking up five consecutive victories.

“We want to win the championship, but we are also going flat out to retain the Vase – although I have to say Spennymoor could be strong contenders.”
