Boldmere St. Michaels 2-0 Racing Club Warwick
In the opening minutes both sides traded long range efforts, Juxon first for Boldmere and Batchelor for Racing Club Warwick, both hit the target.
Mark Mason then went close for 'The Mikes', 15 minutes in, his effort just cleared the bar from close range following Tulloch's wide run and cross.
On 24 minutes Ricky Baker's run was halted in the box by Linton Bailey's lunging challenge. Despite getting the ball, the defender took the man first and this gave the referee no option but to signal a penalty. Stuart McNaught stepped up and his well paced shot beat the static Keeper on his right hand side.
Boldmere's attack had the chances to increase the lead, Jason Holmes on 28 minutes shot over and shortly after, McNaught saw his effort bravely blocked. Holmes was again in on-goal on 34 minutes but found Warwick's keeper Scott Handley equal to his effort, who also kept Tulloch's run and shot out, palming over the bar in the dying moments of the first half.
The second half started as the first finished with Handley making a superb save from Ricky Baker's header and then Mason's shot forced a one handedsave.
Holmes thought he had doubled the home side's lead on 50 minutes after a Swain deep cross found Mason back post he headed back to Holmes to calmly tap in, the assistant's flag was raised to rule the effort out for off side.
Racing Club Warwick having survived were then spurred on to raise their game and Stuart Adamson came into the game. The forward had his 67 minute minute effort tipped over by Jenkins; and he then turned provider releasing Batchelor whose effort beat the advancing Boldmere keeper but rolled the wrong side of the post.
With 8 minutes to go Baker's run and shot was dropped by the Handley and the ball fell to Osborne who had to work at controlling the ball behind him before walloped it into the back of the net to ensure Boldmere extended their fine league form.
