Boldmere St. Michaels 2 - 3 Bridgnorth Town
Boldmere took the lead after 17 minutes after a fine cross from the right into the Bridgnorth area which was met by the on-running John Williams who headed into the far corner.
After 26 minutes the visitors nearly scores leveled the scores when James Wecnitshuks ran through the home defence before having his shot stopped by Boldmere keeper Adam Lane. Boldmere survived again on 32 minutes after Stuart Cox charged down Zachery Jackson's effort on the 18 yard line.
It was a busy end to the first half as Boldmere's Nathan Gough was clipped through by some excellent work by John Williams, the effort was well saved by Bridgnorth goalkeeper Jasbir Singh. Just after this attack Stuart Cox had to leave the field because of injury and on 44 minutes the scores were even. A long ball by James Wecnitschuks into the area, the ball was contested for by Garry Barton and Rhys Adams but the ball fell to Russell Morris to shoot low off the far post.
In the second half, 6 minutes gone, Mark Mason was brought down by Jasbir Singh in the area. Up-stepped Ricky Baker to shoot low and hard to the keeper's left.
The last 15 minutes saw a dramatic change of events. A long ball by Stuart Corns to James Wecnitschuk, he controlled and chipped the advancing Adam Lane to again level the scores. Bridgnorth were then reduced to ten men aftr Russell Morris was sent off for a foul on McNaught. However this did not prevent them from nicking the 3 points. Again James Wecnitschuk was the danger and ran from the left wing, advancing on goal before beating Adam Lane to secure the win with seconds remaining.
