Bromsgrove Vs Boldmere St. Michaels - Mid Com Res Div Preview
The Mikes reserves begin their league season with a trip to Bromsgrove Rovers. After a free week last week, the Mikes will be looking to continue their winning run following two victories in the Challenge Bowl competition.
The first of these came a fortnight ago against Bromsgrove at the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground.
Rob Clarke, taking up his substantive joint manager role following his spell with the first team looked ahead to the game: ‘The first game will count for little this time around. We will know a little about them now, but the same applies for them. It’s league business now, so we’d love to get off to a winning start. The lads have done really well so far and we will continue to use the squad tomorrow. I hope the lads given the opportunity tomorrow grab it like in the first two games.
The Mikes have good memories of the Victoria Ground, which was the scene of their emphatic Smedley Crooke Cup Triumph in May.
