Ex-Mikes weekend round up
On a quiet day for former Mikes players on the goalscoring front, there was only Jamel Fuller on the MFA score sheets, which was unfortunately the Shifnal Town winner that sent us home pointless from Shropshire.
In the FA Trophy, Jimmy Quiggin bagged the goal that earned an FA Trophy replay for Sutton Coldfield Town, courtesy of a 1-1 draw at Witton Albion who currently lie third in the Unibond Division 1 South table. Quiggin struck in the 34th minute, before an 83rd minute strike brought the scores level.
Also facing a home replay is former Boldmere stopper Ryan Price, who was beaten by the 89th minute equaliser that denied Chasetown a victory at the Giant Axe, home of Lancaster City of the Unibond Division 1 North.
