Friar Lane & Epworth 0-3 Boldmere St. Michaels
Boldmere shrugged off last week's disappointments to turn in an excellent team performance at Friar Lane & Epworth in what looked a very tricky Aspire MFA clash.
The Mikes returned from Leicester with all three points thanks to a Simeon Tulloch goal just before half-time, then a second half double from Lee Osborne.
Manager Rob Mallaband was delighted with the team's response, saying that this was the their best footballing display for a number of months.
The result and performance will be a timely boost for the Mikes ahead of this Thursday's home Walsall Senior Cup Quarter Final tie against league rivals Oldbury United, which kicks off at 7.30pm at the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground.
