The Mikes will be looking for a let up in the wintry weather before Saturday, as they prepare to welcome Friar Lane & Epworth to the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground.
The Mikes will look to build on Tuesdays dramatic late win in the snow against Lane’s local rivals Oadby Town, while Lane were without a fixture. Last Saturday, they also came from behind to win by the odd goal in five in their home encounter with Westfields. Like the Mikes, two goals in the last ten minutes did the trick after trailing 2-1.
Lane are no strangers to the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground this season, having visited us in the Polymac Services League Cup in November. The night proved totally forgettable for the home side, crashing to a 6-1 defeat.
Instead, The Mikes will be looking to recreate the form they have previously shown against the Leicestershire outfit, winning their previous four encounters, including a narrow 2-1 win at Whittier Road earlier this season.
