Kirby Muxloe Preview
The Mikes look to get back to winning ways as they tackle league new boys Kirby Muxloe, who are visiting the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground for the first time in league action.
The sides contested a 2-2 draw earlier in the season. The Leicestershire side currently occupy 9th spot in the table in their debut season, two places and three points ahead of The Mikes, who have a game in hand.
The Mikes finally returned to action on Tuesday after an enforced five-week lay off due to the weather, losing to Causeway on a frustrating evening for the hosts. Rob Mallaband commented “the first game back after the break was always going to be a bit of an unknown quantity. It showed in both teams. That’s out of our system now, so we’re looking to take our second half performance into Saturday’s game”.
