Leek CSOB 1 - 2 Boldmere St. Michaels
Leek CSOB took the lead in the 7th minute after a corner swung into the six year box by Mark Fox was dropped by Adam Lane after challenge by Anthony Tarr. The loose ball fell to Matt Bradley who tapped in from 5 yards to score.
Boldmere leveled the game in the 12th minute following a neat move involving Holmes and Swain who put in a measured cross to the unmarked Mason to head in from just inside the 18 yard box.
On 51 minutes the home side were reduced to ten men after Steve Plant recieved his second yellow for a foul on Ricky Baker. It took the passing Boldmere team until 83 minutes on the clock before they took advantage. Mason on the edge of the 18yard box set up McNaught who hit first time, after a deflection from a defender the ball looped into the top corner and there was nothing the Leek goalkeeper could do to prevent the 3rd win in a week for ‘The Mikes’
