Mark Clarke on Willenhall win
The first round of the FA Youth cup is always a special game and the atmosphere at the game again was very good and it was nice to see the first and reserve team managers watching last night to give support to the lads.
I was pleased with the performance especially in the second half when our passing and movement was a lot sharper all over the pitch, the result was good but we could of banged a few more goals with a bit more compsure and also the Willenhall keeper had a fine game.
The back four where dominant with young Liam Morrall playing exceptionally well on the night, Nathan and Kieran in midfield bossed from the first minute and Chris Ward looked very dangerous in the second half with his powerful runs down the left, Tom Law again banged in a great goal to start the scoring with Tom Powell and Chris Ward getting the other.
A good nights work and we move on to the next game on Monday v Dosthill Colts @ Boldmere 7.30pm KO
