The Mikes learn Birmingham Senior Cup fate
Following the excellent victory over Walsall, The Mikes have been rewarded with another home tie against Football League opposition.
League 2 new boys Burton Albion will visit the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground in Round 2 of the Birmingham County FA Senior Challenge Cup. The date of the tie is to be announced.
In the previous round Burton travelled to fellow Aspire MFA side Coleshill Town. They defeated their hosts 4-1 CLICK HERE to view the match report from 5th October.
The Brewers won promotion to the Football League last year as Blue Square Conference Premier Champions. On the way, they visited Boldmere at the same stage of the competition. A 7th Minute Lee Morris goal settled a hugely entertaining contest in favour of the visitors.
The Burton line up included then Manager Nigel Clough, ex Nottingham Forest star Gary Crosby, and former Derby and Wycombe keeper Martin Taylor.
