First Team Preview: Mikes visit high flying Ravens‏

Match Preview: Saturday 10th April 2010 – 3:00pm

Coalville Town v Boldmere St. Michael’s

Aspire Midland Football Alliance

The Mikes travel to Leicestershire on Saturday hoping to maintain their improved recent league form against the second-placed Ravens.

The Mikes drew 1-1 at Causeway on Bank Holiday Monday, following Saturday’s 5-0 stroll against Shifnal Town. Coalville endured a rare home loss on Saturday, when an early James Dodd own goal was enough to see Alvechurch emerge with the points. They bounced back in style on Monday, registering an emphatic 4-0 victory at Loughborough University.

Recent games between the clubs have not been short on entertainment, with late drama being a feature. Coalville overturned a 2-1 deficit to win 3-2 at Church Road earlier in the season, in an exact reverse of last season’s game here. The away fixture finished goalless last time, but provided an excellent footballing spectacle.
