Oadby Town preview

The Mikes will look to bounce back from last week’s disappointing reverse at Shifnal Town when they hit the road again on Saturday, for an Aspire Midland Football Alliance clash at Oadby Town (3:00pm).

The Mikes have no new injuries for the clash, but Lyndon Weller has been added to the squad after impressing in the reserves, while Ceiran McLean will return to the reserve squad.

The Mikes enjoyed a clean sweep from last season’s three meetings with the Leicestershire side, but will not be taking anything for granted this time around. The Poachers currently sit in eighth place in the table, two places and two points behind the Mikes.

The Mikes 4-0 victory in March contained a landmark for the club. Stuart McNaught’s first half header was the Mikes’ 1000th MFA goal.
