The Mikes continued the fine early season League form, beating Aspire MFA new boys Loughborough University 2-0 at the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground.

The Mikes were indebted to midfielder Stuart McNaught for two excellent headed goals, although delighted Manager Rob Mallaband was quick to praise the collective effort of his squad: “It was a good team performance, and everybody contributed to the victory”.

“We altered the system slightly and continued to use the full squad, so it was pleasing that everybody performed well.”
