Quorn Preview

The Mikes Reserves are at home for the second successive Saturday, entertaining Quorn in a Midland Football Combination Reserve Division Fixture (KO 3.00pm).

After a disappointing defeat in the opening league game at Bromsgrove Rovers a fortnight ago, the Mikes will be looking to translate their excellent form in the Challenge Bowl competition, where they have registered three wins out of three.

Joint manager Rob Clarke looked forward to the game: “I am anticipating a good game on Saturday. Like ourselves, Quorn normally like to get the ball down and play. They will appreciate our quality surface, as theirs is one of the best in midlands non-league. They are always a strong side, so it should be a good contest”.
