The Mikes will continue their defence of the Smedley Crooke Memorial Challenge Cup on Saturday 13th March, when they visit Knowle Reserves for a second Round tie. Knowle Reserves currently lie second in Midland Combination Division Two.
Please note that the match will have an earlier kick off time, as there are no floodlights at Knowle’s Hampton Road ground. Please check www.themikes.co.uk for a full match preview closer to the date.
The Mikes will hope to continue their fine form in the competition, beating Midland Combination Division One outfit Droitwich Spa 9-0 in the first round.
Two sides already through to the semi-final stage are Shirley Town and Bartley Green, who both progressed this week. Shirley came through their away tie at Earlswood Town by a single goal, while Bartley progressed 5-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw at Pilkington XXX.
