Stratford Town 3 - 2 Boldmere St. Michaels
The Mikes went down to an Easter Monday defeat at in-form Stratford Town in controversial circumstances.
Despite the Mikes being fully present at 1.30, the kick off was delayed due to Stratford players and a match official being delayed in traffic.
This seemed to affect the Mikes as they fell behind to a 5th minute strike from Josef Jakab.
The Mikes hit back strongly and were soon on level terms thanks to a fine Ricky Baker goal on 8 minutes. The Mikes pushed on impressively an increased their lead on the half hour thanks to skipper Tom Stevenson.
The home side drew level five minutes after the restart, when Lee Colkin converted from the spot.
The game turned firmly in the home side's favour when Kirk Smith was controversially sent off for a soft second yellow card. The Mikes 10 men were unable to withstand the home onslaught and Mick Tuohy netted the winner with four minutes remaining.
