The Mikes got back to winning ways with a comprehensive victory over Studley.
The Mikes rang the changes and turned in a much improved display and the visitors were indebted to a string of fine saves for keeping the scoreline respectable. Goals from the recalled Anthony Juxon and Lee Osborne did the trick for the Mikes, who halted a run of three successive league defeats.
Rob Mallaband was pleased with the performance “We played well and looked solid today. It was a better performance, which we needed, as we haven’t been playing well of late. I may have surprised a few with the changes, but sometimes you need that.”
The Mikes are again in home action on Tuesday, when they entertain Friar Lane and Epworth in the Polymac Services League Cup (7:30pm)
