Tipton Town 2-1 Boldmere St. Michaels
Boldmere started well and took the lead after 5 minutes. Ricky Baker's short corner to Weller was whipped into the box and met by Neil Hanlon who guided the ball into the net.
After taking the lead 'The Mikes' took their foot off the peddle and this allowed Tipton to get into the game. It was just before half time the home side leveled the scores. A corner to the far post from Danny Yearwood found the head of full back Ross Brown who headed towards goal. With Adam Lane beat, Matt Jackson tried to keep it out but failed.
In the second half Boldmere produced a move of quality, Kirk Smith's one-two with John Williams fed Osborne only for his effort to be ruled out for offside. A minute later at the other end Nicky Campbell had two chances blocked after passing from Brown and Yearwood.
Tipton were piling on the pressure and in the 71st minute again went close with an effort from Nathan Jones on the edge of the eighteen yard line. Boldmere cleared with Wood's saving header.
Two minutes later there were two sendings off, a rumble between Andy Smith and John Williams resulted in the two players headed for an early shower. The match came to an end after a winner for Tipton, Danny Bracoli's 35 yard strike beat the diving Adam Lane to seal the victory at the death.
