After three games without scoring, The Mikes celebrated a return to form with a well deserved maximum points haul from two tough fixtures against top-five opposition.

The Mikes took control after the break and Jason Holmes doubled the lead. The visitors scrambled a late goal to provide a few nervous moments, but the Mikes looked the more likely to score on the break.
Manager Rob Mallaband was understandably pleased "We played some great stuff at times over the last few games without getting results, so it’s been nice to get what we deserved out of two difficult games. Both games were team performances where everybody contributed. The work ethic has been superb, and the victory at Tipton was my most pleasing performance of the season so far".
The Mikes have no fixture on Saturday, but travel to Cradley Town on Tuesday 30th March (7:45 pm).
